The pairing that spoilt the ending

 How could this disaster be allowed to happen?  He was always after her, he even told the tale of how he met his dead wife just to shack up with Aunt Robin! It is an absolute disgrace that this finale even exists. Ted was always after Robin the woman who kept rejecting him, settled for his best friend only for them to be split apart unjustly, his wife to be killed off only for him to go after her again. How could he do this? It is just a disgrace that this was the show's ending which is why I would love to suggest the opposite: Robin was after Ted all the time. This is a hypothesis I would love to deal with in 6 parts:  When they met  Their first time together  Their breakup to Barney's wedding  Tracy era 6 years reunion What about Tracy?  Conclusion  Does the title mean anything? Robin and Barney were meant to last

Unfairly split-up Robin and Barney were the awesome couple who could absolutely not go wrong, the two people who were the most afraid of commitment, that came to the point of commiting to each other marrying in a grand ceremony only for them to be cruelly split up 13 minutes into the next episode after only 3 years together in real time. It is just outrageous that their character development would be undone in the matter of minutes, which means it is just outrageous that we didn't pay real attention to their relationship or even Robin's relationship to Ted. That is because there were always the signs that Robin and Barney's relationship was going to run it's course and Robin and Barney's marriage was a continuation of their first stint together. I'd look at their relationship in 5 phases:  When they first met  Their first time together  Time in between  Second time together  Character development overturned  When they first met   Their first meeti...
